OCR: The West Lake in Hangzhou The West Lake got its name because it is located in western Hangzhou of Zhejiang Province. With an area of 5.6 square kilomet- ers, the lake is divided by the Bai Causeway and the Su Causeway into three parts-"the Outer lake", "the Inner lake", and "the Rear lake". The West Lake is sheltered on three sides by green mountain slopes, among which are the Jade Spring Peak (Yuquanshan), the Peak That Flew Afar (Feilaifeng), the Peak Shrouded in Five Clouds (Wuyunfeng), and the South Height Peak(Nangaoshan). Not far from the West Lake are some famous springs (the Tiger Spring, the Jade Spring, the Longjing Spring, and others). The far-away mountains and the nearby springs make the West Lake like pictures rich in poetic flavour.
